I'm loving San Francisco's Presidio these days: new trails and overlooks, an improved campground, and even art!The Presidio Habitats Exhibition, which runs through May 15, 2011, is described as "A Site-Based Art Exhibition Celebrating Presidio Nature and Wildlife."
If you go to the Presidio to check out the art, consider making a day of it: go for a hike (or two), have a picnic at the beach, or take part in a guided adventure where you can learn about local butterflies (see the Habitats Exhibition page for butterfly info). And look for Andy Goldsworthy's "Spire," near Inspiration Point.
The Presidio is a great, easy-to-reach destination; enjoy nature in the city.

ReplyDeleteYour photo of the Spire is the best I have seen so far. It is a difficult subject and challenge for a good composition, not to mention perrenially foggy skies. Good work!
Often very picturesque places are carefully hidden during the trip and you can get to them only by car. For these purposes, I always rent a car from Rental24h and I have never regretted it, because I witnessed incredible sunrises and sunsets.
ReplyDeleteArt in the Presidio sounds like a wonderful way to explore creativity and appreciate the cultural value of art in a unique setting. I love how artistic spaces can bring people together, inspire new ideas, and make local communities more vibrant. For those planning a meal after a day of exploring, looking up the big mouth bites chilis price can also help when comparing restaurant options and budgeting for a delicious meal.

After a day of exploring art and culture, food is another great way to enjoy a relaxing outing, and the Wetherspoons chicken options may be worth exploring for anyone looking for a casual meal in the UK.

I especially like how art can connect people with their surroundings and encourage them to see familiar places from a different perspective. Tools related to elevationgeneration are also useful for discovering the elevation of a location, especially for people who want to know the height of their current position above sea level.
